Getting the Water Taxi from Logan Airport:

The airport offers a free shuttle that runs from each terminal approximately every 15 minutes to the water taxi dock. This bus picks up outside baggage claim. Proceed curbside to where you see signs for the Water Transportation Shuttle, it is a blue and white Massport shuttle bus #66. If you have purchased a ticket online, you do not need to do anything, the taxi will be expecting you at your booked time.

If you have not purchased a ticket ahead of time, you can purchase a ticket on board. We accept Cash,Credit, Apple Pay and Google Pay aboard. Once you arrive at the Water Transportation stop and retrieve your belongings from the shuttle bus, proceed down to the dock to board the next available taxi. Make sure to verify with your Captain that you are boarding a Boston Water Taxi. (Our vessels are Blue with a Tan Roof)

Hours of Operation/Weather Closures:

We operate year round with seasonally adjusted hours.

May 1 - October 31: 8AM-8PM

November 1-April 30: 8AM-5PM

Our Vessels are covered and enclosed and remain comfortable regardless of the weather. We operate in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the USCG or the Captain.

Scheduling a Pick Up:

Our water taxis do not run on a set schedule to various destinations. We operate much like a traditional Taxi/Uber service where your travel needs dictate our schedule/stops. We offer 2 methods to coordinate a Water Taxi pickup. The easiest and most convenient way to arrange a ride is to purchase and schedule your trip online here. We also offer on demand/will call service for immediate pick up (20-30 minutes advance notice requested)

Scheduling Notes:

When arranging a time to go to Logan Airport, please allow for 45 minutes of transit time from dock to terminal door.

When arranging a time when coming from Logan Airport, select a time at least 40 minutes from your scheduled landing at the airport. (you will have the ability to adjust your selected time via your confirmation email if your travel is delayed)

If you have a large group to schedule (10 passengers or more) Please submit the group transportation request (link at top of page) for more information. You may also select option 2 when calling to set up a group taxi.

Luggage Storage:

We offer luggage storage in our secure location at Rowes Wharf. Luggage storage is offered with our water taxi service. The cost for a one-way ticket with luggage storage is $30.00 per person and for a round trip ticket with luggage storage is $45.00 per person. Please be advised when luggage storage is purchased in conjunction with a round trip ticket, the round trip must be used on the same day. We do not provide overnight storage of bags.

When utilizing a one way luggage storage ticket to store your luggage prior to your trip to the airport, we will reserve your taxi time to the airport when you drop off your bags. The bags can be dropped off at our office at 60 Rowes Wharf in the Ferry Terminal Building. Please call 617-406-8584-option 1 when you are on your way to drop off your bags as we are not always at the office and can coordinate staff to assist you.

Ticket Types and Payment Options:

We offer a few different tickets to fit your travel situation, all of our tickets are priced on a per person basis. Our one way ticket ($20) is for transit from any one stop on our route to another, This includes to and from the airport.

Ticket Notes:

If you would like to pre-purchase a round trip fare, you would just purchase two one way tickets for each person traveling.

Our tickets with the luggage add on are solely for those looking to store their luggage with us at downtown office for a period of time. There is no additional charge to bring luggage aboard the taxi in any other situation.

Our 10 ride pass offers a multi-ride discount. These tickets can be used in any configuration by single or multi riders at a time.

For all tickets purchased online you will receive an email confirming the purchase. Please show the email to the Captain when they collect fares.

Tickets are available for purchase aboard the vessel as well for the same cost. We accept Cash and Credit Card aboard.

Scheduling Options:

Scheduled Tickets are a reservation. We will ask you to make your reservation at the time of purchase. You will select the date, time and location you would like to reserve. You do not need to call the Captain to schedule or confirm, you will be added to our reservation system automatically.

Will Call/On Demand If you do not purchase and schedule your ticket online, you may call us directly to set up a pickup. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred pick up time, but please keep in mind it will be subject to existing reservations.

Traveling with Pets/Bikes/Strollers/Children:

We are more than happy to transport your furry friends at no additional cost. Our taxis are often a shared riding experience, so we do ask that your pet be leashed while aboard.

Bikes are also allowed aboard at the discretion of the Captain, and available space. Typically we have room aboard, but may not be able to accommodate during times of peak demand.

Strollers can be loaded aboard our vessels. For the safety of all passengers, these must be folded and/or locked while the taxi is underway. Children are always welcome aboard the water taxi, and we have child sized life preservers aboard as required by the USCG. A ticket is required for every passenger, including children. Ride Time:

Once you have boarded the water taxi ride is between 10 and 15 minutes depending on your destination/pickup. For airport passengers, we do encourage you to plan for up to 45 minutes of transit time dock to terminal or terminal to dock as you have to board the shuttle and need to account for that time in the total transit time.

Vessel Size/Passenger Capacity:

We offer water taxis with varying capacities. Passenger accommodations are up to 40 people on a single water taxi. For large parties we often provide multiple water taxis should everyone need transport at the same time. We can also offer private shuttle service to and from destinations for groups looking to go to and from a destination over a designated period of time. The closest parking is the Rowes Wharf Parking Garage located directly next to the Boston Harbor Hotel. There is also a number of other parking garages located within a 3 block radius of Rowes Wharf.
